I'm Joey Redmond and I live just outside Atlanta, GA. I began shooting photography in 2004. My primary focus is motor sports. I solely rely on the superior equipment from Canon North America which has produced great images for me for several years now.
In the early part of 2005 I shot for my first print magazine, Import Racer, (now defunct). I continued to shoot Formula D and grow my client list.
Moving into the spring of 2006 I started a media production company with an old friend, Jason Small. We called it PM Lifestyle. A few months later we conceptualized our first major project called Slide America with Formula D driver Andy Sapp. We filmed Slide America in the summer of 2006 in 30 days while racking up a little over 16,000 miles on a rental car. We documented Drifting in 19 cities across North America and had a blast putting together the whole project. The video made its world premiere at the Midtown Arts Cinema in downtown Atlanta on May 10th, 2007, red carpet and all. We have received great feedback and excitement from the final project.
2006 was also a big year for my photography career. I produced my first commercial work and also had print spreads for Drifting Magazine and Modified Magazine. By the end of the year my editorial and photography work was spreading across the automotive world.
Now, in 2007, I have photos at everythingdrift.com, urbanracer.com, ign.com, and many others (see my client list below). I have traveled internationally to cover some Drifting events. PM Lifestyle has also been moving forward in 2007. The retail release of Slide America is just around the corner and some new projects we have been developing are coming soon!
